Our 2013 patch features another farm friendly raptor. The Northern Harrier is a long-winged, long-tailed raptor of open grasslands and marshes. Distinguishing characteristics include an owl-shaped face and white rump patch at the base of the tail. The harrier is a species of special concern in Pennsylvania. Patch diameter measures 4 inches.
